COLCORD, Okla. (March 13, 2026) Two seasons got underway Friday night at Arrowhead Speedway, as the NASCAR Weekly Points Series presented by Advanced Energy kicked off along with the Edelbrock All-American Outlaw Modified Series, and leading the charge was Gary Christan and Talan Willis, who each collected $3,000 for their wins.

Leading all 25 laps in the first of two Outlaw Modified A-Features. Broken Bow’s Gary Christian had to fend off the charge of Gabe Hodges and Reece Solander through the closing laps, with the teammates ultimately running second and third. Shadren Turner and Jared Russell ended up completing the top five.

Into the second A-Feature, things would only intensify with Tyler Wolff and Talan Willis taking center stage. Trailing Willis the first two revolutions, a slip by the No. 10m put the Louisiana shoe trailing Wolff in an instant. Fast forward to the final five laps, and this time the slip came from Wolff as he attempted to work inside a slower car. Slamming door-to-door with the lapped car, that opened the door of Willis to retake the point in his debut at the one-third-mile oval. Willis ended up second, but not before trading the spot with Cade Dillard, who ended up third. Arizona’s R.C. Whitwell crossed fourth with Kale Murphrey in fifth.

Two other divisions of Modifieds on hand saw Clayton Ward in Victory Lane with the Midwest Modifieds, while Mitch Keeter kept Cody King at bay for the B-Mod score.

Pure Stocks were topped by JP Harris, with John Campbell holding on for the Tuner win. Making the drive from Iowa to compete in Stock Car competition, Austin Kaplan emerged victorious. Interceptors were won by William Avila.

A total of 151 entries took part in Friday's preliminary event.

The 3rd annual Triple Threat continues on Saturday, March 14. Pits open at 3:00 P.M. and Grandstands at 5:00 P.M. with Hot Laps at 6:30 P.M. followed by Qualifying for the Edelbrock All-American Outlaw Modified Series at 7:00 P.M. (CDT).

Admission is $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and military with ID, and free for kids 10 and under. Pits are $40 per day for all ages.
