Christian picks up Tri-State Speedway victory

With the inaugural Summit USMTS Red, White & Blue Nationals coming up at Pocola, Oklahoma's Tri-State Speedway next weekend, Gary Christian tuned up with a start at the track on Saturday. Competing in an 18-car USRA Modified field at the 3/8-mile clay oval, he scored his third feature victory of the season.

Christian was strong from start to finish on Police Fire & EMT Night Honoring Danny Martinez, Jr. He won his heat race from the pole, then rolled off third in his Hochatown Saloon No. 58x Modified to begin the 20-lap A-Main.

He took the checkered flag in the main event ahead of Greg Skaggs, Trevor Hughes, Jacob Campbell and Jake Davis.
