Christian makes TOMS start at Rocket Raceway Park
Gary Christian visited Petty, Texas, and Rocket Raceway Park on Friday to compete in the 11th annual Bryan Mize Memorial with the Touring Outlaw Modified Series (TOMS).
With 39 TOMS Modifieds in the pits at the 3/8-mile dirt oval, Christian drove his Hochatown Saloon No. 58x machine from fourth to third in one of four heat races. He started 12th in the 25-lap, $2,000-to-win A-Main but suffered a DQ.
Saturday’s $3,000-to-win finale was rained out.
