Christian earns Deer Creek victory
With the Summit USMTS National Championship events rained out for the weekend, Gary Christian chose to race in a 24-car USRA Modified field at Deer Creek Speedway on Saturday. He grabbed his second feature win of 2025 during Pink Out Night at the 3/8-mile clay oval in Spring Valley, Minnesota.
Christian finished third in his heat race aboard his No. 58x machine, then started sixth in the 25-lap feature. He took over the top spot on the ninth circuit and led the rest of the way, crossing the start-finish line just 0.390 seconds ahead of runner-up Zach Brom. Parker Hale, Alex Williamson and Josh Angst completed the top five.
